Portraits of Resilience
Did you know?
Back in 2020 our Lead Photo Manager Kate took a simple photo to document a moment in time.
We were under the masking and stay at home order.
Badly in need of haircuts, sunlight on our faces and time to see our family and friends in real life.
While trying to make the best of the situation and always trying to make the other person laugh.
Kate submitted the photo to be part of the AGO’s 2021 Portraits of Resilience exhibition
An online only showing of the collective works.
Fast forward and now this piece is part of the 2022 I AM HERE: Home Movies and Everyday Masterpieces.
Being a graduation of the Ontario College of Art & Design this was never in Kate's plans.
But she will happily tell anyone about it.
